hi
i am a primary school teacher in knowsley and i am looking to start a table tennis after school club which in turn will grow into a league. i am therefore asking if there is any funding available for key stage two (age 7, year 3 pupils to age 11, year 6 pupils).
i look forward from hearing from you.
cheers
thomas
Hi Thomas, thanks for the question. We’re not immediately aware of funding specific to your requirements, but we’ll do a bit of research and get back to you again very soon. It sounds a great idea to get kids into table tennis at an early age, and certainly sounds very fundable. Alternatively, there are lots of ways of setting up and playing the game on a budget, so you may be able to get things up and running without the need to rely on grants. More on that soon, too. Some of our recent blog posts may be of interest to you in the meantime…
Thanks, EPPA
Hi, I thought your site readers might be interested in my new book: Zen and the Art of Table Tennis, available from amazon (£6 on Kindle) and best book price at http://www.bookdepository.co.uk (around £12 with free shipping). Readers can get a free flavour of my book by going to Rowden Fullen’s website http://www.protabletennis.net (under “latest” and “Mental Side/Approach”) where he has posted extensive extracts. Hope they like it, Peter.
