The second full International Pongress – a week long festival for ping pong party people – hits the north east later this month. From 27th October to 4th November, Newcastle will be the centre of the ping pong universe.
The week kicks off in some style; the longest running, most popular UK social ping pong night will be getting the Cumberland Arms jumping on Saturday 27th October.
Beyond the opening night, Pongress boasts parties hosted by groups from Tallin, Copenhagen, Berlin, Washington DC, Bristol, London, Gothenburg, Manchester and New York. Each bringing their own unique style and rules t the table. That all sounds a bit bloody good don’t y
